VM-2120 là bộ khuếch đại đa chức năng có thể được gắn trong giá đỡ thiết bị EIA-Standard (kích thước 3 đơn vị). Thiết bị đi kèm với 4 đầu vào âm thanh bao gồm đầu vào âm nhạc nền, và phần đầu ra loa có một bộ suy hao bên trong và bộ chọn 5 vùng. Nó cho phép phát sóng không chỉ cho mục đích chung, mà còn phát sóng khẩn cấp dựa trên tiêu chuẩn EN60849 cho phép ghi lại các chỉ dẫn bằng giọng nói (* 1) trong trường hợp khẩn cấp. Phát sóng có thể được thực hiện từ một Microphone RM-200M tùy chọn cũng như từ bộ khuếch đại, và có thể được điều khiển từ xa từ các thiết bị bên ngoài. Ngoài ra, đối với ứng dụng 100 V / 83 Ω, thiết bị có chức năng giám sát (* 2) tự động kiểm tra hệ thống cho các lỗi. (* 1) Ban Thông báo bằng giọng nói EV-200M tùy chọn được yêu cầu. (* 2) Cần phải có một Ban giám sát SV-200MA tùy chọn.
